We didn't quite get to this story yesterday, but it's worth sharing today. Google just released a handy new app called Device Assist. It's basically a technical support app for your Nexus devices, your Google Play Edition devices and more.

What's really cool about the app is that it isn't designed solely to address tech support problems. It can also help you maximize the potential of your Android device by teaching you how to use some of its most unique features. This includes options like setting up Google Now, using Face Unlock, or projecting images on your television screen with Chromecast.

Here's the description from the Google Play Store:
Google Device Assist provides tips and proactive troubleshooting to help you get the most out of your device.
*Get proactive help with detected issues (GPS, connectivity, battery, etc.)
*Get tips to explore new features and improve the performance of your device
*For Nexus and Google Play edition devices, gain easy access to live Google support

App currently available to US-based Nexus, Google Play edition and Android One devices running Android 5.0, Lollipop.

It's available on the Google Play Store here: Device Assist - Android Apps on Google Play
