Google Play Music starts when connected to BT in my truck

I have a Ford F150 which has the Ford Sync (which I cannot stand, it is the original Ford Sync for 2009). The phone auto-connects via BlueTooth as soon as the truck is turned on. Google Play Music automatically starts up on my phone. I've cleared the defaults in the app but it still does this. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

I rebooted my phone yesterday evening and I guess that was the second piece of the puzzle after clearing the defaults. Play Music did not automatically come up this morning after getting in the truck.
