Bluetooth starts music playing

I've got a new truck with the navigation system/integrated bluetooth. When the nav system syncs w/my phone, the phone starts streaming. Sometimes it streams whatever was previously paused on the Listen app but usually it plays a random song from the DoubleTwist app. Sometimes I end up with both apps running. The truck's controls will stop the app but won't let me change which app is starting.

Is there any way to stop this from happening or at least set the default app that starts up when bluetooth syncs?

I'm with beejay. I have a bunch of music on my droid but when my car (2011 Camry) starts streaming the music from my droid it's only 1 random album that I'm able to listen too. It's not the first alphabetically or anything. Just random it seems. It's a great album (SOJA - Born in Babylon?) but I'd really like to hear all my stuff.

It could be on Toyota's end? Or maybe I don't know how to use it the right way but I've tried.

My company car has Microsoft SYNC and it also starts the music when it connects IF the BT has remained turned on since the last time I listened to music. If I turn BT off and back on between the time I listened to music and get into the car the pairing is for Hands Free...no music. I often use Google Navigation when I drive but if my Droid is paired as Hands Free and not Media the GPS audio for turn by turn is muted but if it is paired as Media the GPS audio works. I guess by now I have just learned to live with it but would not mind a fix to having GPS audio working when in Hands Free mode.
