Just about monthly we see stories on the big tech blogs and even mainstream media about how insecure Android is. It's funny how these news outlets love to report on lab created vulnerabilities that have little to no chance of ever effecting the phones of the public. These articles almost always have some shocking scary click baity title. Of course this leads all the Apple fanboys to complain of how insecure Android is.

It turns out the new Pixel devices are just as Secure as the iPhone according to Android's director of Android Security anyhow. Adrian Ludwig during an interview with Motherboard said "for sure" when asked if the Pixels are as secure as iPhones. They are because Google can update their own phones. Which means they are able to patch vulnerabilities as soon as they find them. Ludwig also pointed out the safety net feature in Android which can scan 400million devices per day and 6billion apps. According to Ludwig less than 1% of Android phones contain malware. Apparently Google's phones are the most secure Android devices. If safety is your number one concern go with the Pixels!
