google maps voices

Hey all, I'm new, but i was wondering if you can download any voices for the navigation, more funny ones would be great. I've already spent an hour searching the forum for any type of answer and finally gave up. so if anyone can help that would be great thanks

Isn't there some kind of voice library for text to speech...?

Almost thought I was on to something but it must change another text-voice setting.

In the main settings menu there is a text-to-speech menu where you can change the "Language" (one option is British English) does anyone know what this setting actually changes? I tested it in maps and I didnt notice a difference.

I had the same question. There has to be a better voice than Mrs. Roboto. I can't even understand what it's saying sometimes....

My GPS had a voice that was clear and easy to understand, like a person talking to me. Google maps narration is all robotic and terrible. I would've thought that they would have done a better job on this.

Please let me know if anyone finds something better. Thanks.
