Google maps not working

I just installed ultimate droid on my droid x. When i go to click on it i get an error stating that com.google.apps.maps has shut down unexpedidly. I have uninstalled maps and installed it again and getting the same results. I have searched high and low for answers but i have not had any luck.

At this point ultimate droid for x isnt too stable it has at least 3 known bugs, one being no usb support along with some fc's on some apps. U may want to wait till bugs are fixed prior to flashing or at least be aware of the bugs in case that's something u don't want to live with.
