I was on lightning rom 2.1 so i decided to update my google maps app. It would not update, so went to the lightning thread at xda to see what i needed to do. Rom author said to unistall it with ti backup an reinstall it form marketolace. Guess what bone heads, if you do this you will be trapped in the land of rom errors an won't be able to reinstall google maps! Note to devs, just leave the damn google apps out, an let us just download them in the marketplace, it saves everyone a ton of time in the longrun.
