google maps eating my battery??

I updated to ics via ota.. im getting very poor battery life. I noticed google maps is using 25% of my battery and im not even using it? Lattitude sharing is turned off

wipe the cache and see if that helps.

I personally would wipe the phone... When upgrading to ics from gb a full wipe usually fixes battery issues... I know it's a pain to set up but it's worth it.
