Google Maps app acting up

it offered me an update yesterday so I said ok... (of course falsly excited that the much awaited for OS update was waiting... still no luck) and since then I keep getting force stops... should I just revert back to previous installation or totally uninstall it and wait for the big update? Is this common or a preview of coming "attractions"... gods I hope it's just a fluke LOL

The update worked fine for me, and made it actually find me about 100 times faster. I would suggest removing the update and reapplying it. It should be patch 3.3.1.

I'll try that, thanks!! I uninstalled the updates and so far it's not constantly showing me the force stop so that's a step in the right direction! Phrew!!

reinstalled and it seems the error went away. However it's not picking up my location there nor is it picking up my location on the mobile google page like it did on my crackberry... but the errors went away from the maps, which is what I posted about originally. Woot!
