hey what is the chance of getting a program made to take a picture of a prescription pill and getting any and all information on it. kinda pdr by photo

and i start off talking about google goggles which is one thing that i wanna see merged with another application mentioned below

Have you heard of epocrates a free market app that does some of what i am looking for they just dont go by photo.
not to mention we are in a forum that promote's "hacking" of official firmware and you wanna use the term legality? honestly?

i mean can you imagine the reatime applications for this emt,police,fire,doctors.pharmacy or even the average consumer.
ie....
you got a headache your ol lady says she has asprin and accidently slides you a midol you can make sure it is actually an asprin

just take a pic and it pulls up the pdr giving you the need to knows about that pill

That would be a great idea. Some pills are hard to read, also getting good color identification might be hard with certain lighting. In the mean time, this is the site I use.

Actually goggles does suck. It hardly ever recognizes anything I point it at
