"Q. Will the Nexus One support tethering? Will it support WiFi?
A. Yes to WiFi, tethering will be supported"

I assume that means 2.1 in general :)

I think it's the initial shock that VZW is getting the Nexus.... but this really does mean great things for the Droid!

Will Google Earth be N! exclusive, or is that coming to everybody in 2.1?

Can someone tell me exactly what "real world" purposes Google Earth serves that aren't already covered by Google Maps?

For me personally this could be quite useful in my job. I am in the mapping industry and create/receive a lot of custom KML/KMZ files. If this app has the ability to view said files (especially from email attachments) then that would be great for field work and quick viewing to coworkers and clients.

I just want to fly all over the world :)

I wonder if it can integrate with Google Sky Map so we can see the stars anywhere anytime.
