Google Assistant Making It's Way To More Nougat and Marshmallow Devices!

Google Assistant was originally a service exclusive to the Pixel and Pixel XL along with a few other Nougat devices. Now it is starting to roll out to even more devices some of those running Marshmallow! Google Assistant is a smart assistant that learns from how you use it on a daily basis. It provides more of a conversational experience. Google assistant assists you in booking reservations, making notes, setting alarms, making calls, sending text messages, settings reminders, grabbing sports scores, and more. The update should arrive on your device this month!

I still haven't received Assistant yet or the update for Allo. Galaxy S7 Edge running 7.0

Fake news? Too much of that on TV lately, not here. Like any other major app update, it rolls out slowly. Not all phones are compatible, not all phones will get it. Those that are compatible don't all get the update at once. I'm pretty sure this process hasn't changed much since 2009, it will roll out to your phone when available... if your phone is available to receive the update. Until then....Relax, enjoy a good book, go on a hike, enjoy a day at the beach, watch a good movie, brew fresh coffee.... Your phone will be OK and function just fine until the update arrives.

Got it overnight apparently. Got a pop-up which I accidentally dismissed. You've got Google Assistant! Was all I read. Anyone get the pop-up, post a screenie. Curious what it said.
