Google Apps vs Championlink to sync with Outlook 2010

A question for you all, I am using Championlink to sync my Outlook 2010 with Google online. I am using the 15 day eval version. Does anyone have experience with both Google Apps, and Championlink? Or know which one works better? I know Google Apps is $10.00 more, at $50.00, but my understanding is that Google Apps is for Exchange based email.
I am only using POP.

Any sugestions? Or is there a free app that will sync my Outlook 2010 with Google?

Thx.

Sync2 is NOT a solution

I used Sync2 to connect Outlook to my Android. Please don't anyone elso do this. The programs corrupts your files. In my case I was using PST files and lost ALL my data when their tech support tried to fix the issue.

I am now using ChampionLink 4.0 for Outlook to Android phone. It has been working like a champ!!! No issues with corrupted files like Sync2

My wife has an exchange server account and we found that TouchDown works best to keep everything in sycn. We found that we had to reset the calendar every two weeks when we were usingthe Google apps supplied with the phone.

I want to reiterate that Sync2 is a terrible applicaiton and one to stay away from!!!
