going back to home screen

Hey everyone I'm new to rom and like it so for. But have one concren. While on the internet when I want to go back to the home screen to send a text message etc. I have to press back and go thru all the websites I had visited then I'm able to go home. Can anyone help me?

:welcome: to the Droid Forums. I don't use this ROM but I believe I can answer your question. Simply press the home button on your phone and it will take you right back without having to go through all that.

Well, that I didn't expect. I just thought you didn't realize the home button wasn't there. I can't believe that anybody would create a ROM that doesn't allow you to use your home button. Doesn't make sense.

Hopefully you'll get an answer. I'd be looking for another ROM if it's suppose to do that.

Does the rom have a home replacement app included?
If so it may be set to not do anything when the hone button is pressed.

Is is just when you're in the browser? Also, are you using the launcher (home screen) the ROM came with?

yes happened all the time whether i was in setting, emails, or text, the home button doesnt work at all. and yes it the laucher that the rom came wit

I'm running this awesome rom. When I hit home it takes me home.
