Sorry if there's a post on this already--I'm not sure whether I'm an isolated case or whether others are having this issue.
Basically, I got a FRU phone for a warranty replacement (factory refurb). It works fine, but now I'm having an issue with my Gmail sync.
My E-mail comes in just fine, but when I delete it, it's not deleting the E-mails off the server, so I still get flooded with E-mails when I open Outlook later. I also am constantly told I have a lot of E-mail on my phone whenever a new mail comes in.
So, to break it down, I get in 5 new E-mail messages to my G-mail account
I delete them all.
I get a new E-mail, my notification shows up like normal (it is gone after I deleted the first 5), but it says I have 6 messages.
I open the Gmail app, it shows only the new one.
I delete that too.
I open Outlook on my computer and get all 6 E-mails on my Gmail account anyway.
This wasn't a problem before the FRU phone, but now is. Is there something I can do to fix this? Anyone have any ideas?:icon_eek:
