Gmail question

Hi everyone,
My first post on the forums! I'm using a BB 8830 right now and I'm considering changing over because I love Google and the DROID seems pretty sweet.

Here's my situation. In Gmail, I have two return addresses. In the real application I can choose "FROM" my Gmail name, or from my other e-mail address. I like this so that I don't have to give business contacts a Gmail domain address, but can still use Gmail.

So my question is, in the Gmail app, can you choose which account it sends from? Or if not, will it at least use the default Gmail name (which in my case is NOT the gmail.com return address)?

Not seeing that as an option, is it something you set up on the website?

Your not given an option, but it just uses your default as a default.

But that could be because I have to to autosend using gmail. Can't get my hotmail address to work the other way.

Thats in the default Gmail client. Other mail clients may allow you to select different addresses. Blackberries excel at email though.
