Gmail problem..

Does anyone have problems with their Gmail just locking up and then closing? This is happening to me at least daily. Gmail will freeze and then it closes and takes me to the home screen. I don't get any sort of not responding message or anything. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the GN2 or if I have a dud phone. I have tried a factory reset but did not help. Thanks!

I use gmail lots and I have never had it crash or cause me any issues that I can remember. Are you using the latest version? Maybe wipe the apps cache and data?

Or you can try uninstall/re-install. My Gmail works fine.

My Gmail works fine also, although I use another email app most of the time. Another thing to consider would be another app not playing well with Gmail. Did the issue happen since day 1 with the phone or after a while when other apps were installed?

I cannot unistall the Gmail app. I did, however, unistall the updates and then reinstalled. I have had this issue since day one. Any other ideas/suggestions? Thanks!

aquamail. I dropped the gmail app and stuck with that.
