Gmail notifications.

Hey folks, new to forums. I have been noticing that whenever I get a new email on my gmail account it doesn't notify me. It use to work just fine. Anyone else have this issue? I havn't changed anything with the account so that shouldn't be the issue.. but you never know. Any input would be awesome.

go into the gmail acct and make sure the notifications are still on the way you want them just to make sure

Try this: Menu/Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/Running/Clear Cache/Clear Data. It will take Gmail a few minutes to re-sync and then all should be well.
