Gmail Notification and use

My incredible has suddenly stopped notifying me visually and audibly on any gmails. Alerts and events still come in as always, any suggestions?

for your gmail have you gone in to check the settings to make sure email notifications is checked?

Are you getting any mail? Are you running a task killer? Don't kill tasks. Is the volume up? Did you check the notification settings in the gmail app?

sometomes my gmail app goes all wonky and wont notify for like 20 mins. until after the email. always comes through sooner or later though
