GMail issues. Says Email will appear shortly

Had this problem on Steel Droid 4.x Maverick 4.5 and Liberty 2.0

GMail says "Your email will appear shortly"

I've done the full reformat/reset/factory settings and formatted darn near everything. Gmail just doesn't work, and FC's randomly.

Any ideas?

go into settings/applications/manage and clear data and cache fro gmail. see what happens

Tried it before, tried it just now... still no joy.

"Your email will appear shortly."

btw, I lived in VA Beach and York Co / NN from 2009-2011. I'm from PA, and non-military

delete gmail apk from system/app, then reboot and download from market? would suggest removing account and adding it back, but reset etc should eliminate that. (should really make the first option null, but who knows

i did a full reformat, wiped everything. installed Liberty. and it still dont work! and gmail is part of this ROM. ugh. annoyances.

it finally appeared!!!! after like.. 3 weeks? it just started working tonight. got a notification, opened it, and was then like "Wait, WHOA! GMail is working again!"

anyways, glad it works. may it continue to do so!

UPDATE: my emails finally just showed up, a long while later. no idea..
