Gmail.com and on the Droid X

Is there a way to have the email on gmail.com automatically deleted when it transfers to the Droid?
OR
Can the actions on the Droid be communicated to gemail.com. So, if I delete an email on the Droid it will be deleted on gmail.com?

Sorry if this has been asked many times before. I am new to the Droid. I did attempt a search but did not see anything like this.

What ever is done on the X is mirrored on Gmail.com and vice-versa.....

Delete on the X, it's gone from both places.....
