GMail and Facebook notifications not working with Launcher Pro?

I have exhausted all possibilities to my knowledge. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

I have to sync my gmail to get it to load an unread message, and neither gmail nor facebook notifies me at all via sound or taskbar.

Help?

I mostly use hotmail and mine quit the other day. I am not sure on FB, don't get a lot of messages there. I am using LPP but also Pure Calendar widgets ( Calendar and Grid Calendar ). I had updated those last week, if I recall, and my notifications quit around the 3rd. I couldn't even go and download mail. There was another update for the calendars ( both ) and I did the update. After a power off and back on, now I seem be back to normal. Not sure if is was those apps, but it makes me wonder. Just one of those things, glad it cleared up dancedroid
