Gingerbread shrinks service Area?

Okay here's my story. I have 3 Droid X's. 2 of them get service out in the boonies in my home with 2 bars. The 3rd is a phone I bought off of Ebay, and was able to activate while I was in town... However, at home I have no service bars.

The 2 that get 3g service are on android version 2.2.1, system version 2.3.340 MB810

The 1 that doesn't get service at home is Android Version 2.3.3 System Version 4.5.596.

Anyone experience this issue, and can someone guide me to a thread that can help or give advice?

I seem to have found verizons signal quality has just generally degraded as I have a verizon mifi that doesn't work like it used to (prior to the 4g rollout)...

Have you upgraded the tower info for the phone?
