So I got the new update and the main problem is that I can not for the life of me get the rotating sync a rr of ed to diss appear I've tried going to the sync kermit and mess agaging sett ings but tono avail.if anyone has the solution to this conundrum please don't hesitate to post.

The fix is to either do a factory data reset or to have root and freeze the file. Since you are on the OTA, the only option is to do a factory reset.

Your battery life os going to suck if it is always syncing.

I'm having the same problem. I was on v.6 and didn't have this issue. Now I'm on v.8 and it won't go away. Annoying.

DX on LGBv.8

I actually had what sounds like this on Froyo. I would sync up and the arrows for gmail would not go away. They weren't moving, just wouldn't go away. I deselected auto sync for the mail account only, and it went away.

I read on another forum that its a problem with the accounts and e-mails linked to our phone. Some people were ables to un-link everything, then re-link it and solve it that way. If it works...its a whole lot less work than a factory reset. Might be worth a shot :-) I wish I had known about it before I factory reset my phone.........

According to motorola they said they honestly believe it's syncing.

I had the issue on both my D2 and my DX, the DX I factory reset because of reboots, the D2 I just let it sit. The sync icon went away on its own.
