Gingerbread on the D2

So does anyone else think that moto actually did a decent job on this rom? Its pretty freaking nice other than a few issues regarding the 3g hotspot. But what about the homescreen scrolly thing that used to be at the bottom where the launcher buttons used to be?

Doea anybody know if I can just flash this over Fission 2.6.1 since it's a 2.3.20 based rom? Thanks!

I'm honestly floored by how awesome the Moto rom is actually. It's stable, fast~ reliable. I need to get rid of the bloatware, but outside of that... love it. Once Liberty makes a GB'd version of their rom, I'll probably switch since it'll be even cleaner~ but until then I'm good. <3 I actually like some of the blur features. Having the phone dialer in landscape is something themes keep ignoring. The blur camera is WAY, WAY better than AOSP. The AOSP gallery is absolute garbage. People like the Google experience, but it's overrated in a lot of ways.

I did two different zip files through recovery. Neither seems to work. Unless there's a setting I need to toggle somewhere. I haven't done the ADB method because I cannot find the SDK/Tools directory. ; ;

Yeah its annoying how you gotta have jdk and android sdk to use adb. Which .zips did you try to flash. Link your source, although you shouldve just followed the link earlier in this thread and used the .zip on post 8 from said linked thread.

Does No Lock work on Gingerbread? The reason I ask is that I enabled No Lock, but when I turned on my phone's display this morning, there was Mr. Lock Screen.
