Gingerbread Notification Bar?

So is there an easy way to get a gingerbread themed notification bar for my D2 without jailbreaking anything? I am just asking because I was able to get the gingerbread keyboard on my D2 via an app, so I just thought if a whole keyboard could be downloaded, a notification bar could too..

That's written in to the framework so you would have to be rooted.
