Gingerbread was an upgrade from froyo in every way for me. The only thing else I would love to see on my Droid pro would be a stable build of cyanogenmod 7. As much as I would love to see it ported though I'm fairly positive it never will.

Cyanogenmod is an AOSP (considered pure Google) built custom rom that offers an incredible amount of customization with great speed and great battery life. Unfortunately, the development following behind the Droid Pro isn't too strong so we most likely will never see it ported. Moto's build of gingerbread seems to be rock solid in my experiences though so I'm definitely happy.

How do I get the GB OS on my Pro? Is it available for the Pro or do you have to root / hack it?
