Gingerbread Dialer Issue

When I click on a number in another app, for example, a phone number to a business on Yelp, it loads the Dialer but doesn't copy the number into the dialer. This forces me to have to memorize the number and type it in manually!

Is there a fix for this? I think this has been happening since I got gingerbread not just Liberty.
