Gingerbread coming this week to D2G

i read on droid-life.com yesterday that Motorola's official Gingerbread release was coming out streamed from @VZWSupport (twitter). is that true has anyone received Gingerbread yet. i just checked mine and it said no

were suppossd to get build 4.5.600 or something like that, theres a 4 and a 600 in it. its been stated in another post that verizon said it would take "2-3 weeks" for the update to roll out.
