I first noticed this issue back when the first GB leak came out but didn’t push pursue the issue because of it being a “beta”. When I dock my DX into the Motorola Car Dock, it rapidly switches from charging to not charging. It will do this for about 10 seconds or so, then it stops. It appears to charge after that, but I haven't left it on long enough to test that. This issue also appears to happen with the OTA GB update as well. The charger is a USB AC charger (I have a 110v outlet in my car) using the Motorola USB cable and the issue never happened on Froyo. I don't experience this issue at all using the Motorola Multimedia Dock at home. Anyone else experience this?
