Getting a picture on the homescreen (NOT wallpaper)

Hey guys,

I'm trying to get one of my saved pictures to appear on one of my homescreens, similar to an icon, but much bigger. Ideally I'd like a homescreen with just 4 or so pictures but I can't figure out how/if it's possible to do this. Just to clarify, I want the picture there on it's own; not as a wallpaper. Thanks in advanced to anyone who can help.

You could use the picture frame widget if you are running the stock home...

There's a widget called picture frame. If you look in my screens, I use it all the time. Exactly what you're looking for.
