getting 2 text from same person every text?

everytime someone text me im getting 2 text from them and my phone is usually on vibrate so it vibrates twice and idk what it is and theirs 2 of the same number on the same contact?

Are you using both Handcent and the stock messaging program? You have to turn off notifications on the stock messaging or you'll get two notifications for each message.

Thats not it im just using the stock messenger.

Yea, I only use the stock MMS app and I find sometimes I get multiple messages. Hasnt happened in a little while now but when it does its annoying.

I think it's a VZW issue because it happens to me from time to time with Handcent. Used to happen with my BB too, and my EnV. So I don't think it's Droid specific.
