Gems ECU utility for Land Rover won’t connect ECU

App installs on droid, then syncs with Elm327 interface, however app fails to connect. Any ideas what’s look for?

I think I have a fake dongle, tried on another truck did not connect with a different app. Supposedly the developer of the app GEMS ECU FOR LAND ROVER says works on certain version dongles. Will try a different ELM327 see if thats the fix,
