Setup Connection Failed error

I finally made it onto the 7.893 leak... however I still keep getting the same error I saw on the cheesecake app when looking for updates, the window popped up for a moto account, I would hit setup, it said connection failed with options of setup wi-fi (even though my wifi is on AND connected to my wifi), try again, skip. No matter what I do, even set up and choose my wifi and d/c and reconnect again, I never got past it... though on the cheesecake side of things doesn't really matter anymore since I finally found a way to flash to the 7.893 I don't need the cheesecake app for this reason.... HOWEVER... my social networking app won't load and I can't set up my facebook (mainly for us of showing facebook contacts pics in my contacts on my phone or social status widget... if I try either, I get the SAME exact message I had for the cheesecake app in which setup connection. connection failed. again no matter what I do, still persists. Can't get past it.. what gives? I have a 4g signal and again as I already mentioned above, I have my wifi on (and even tried it with it off). Any ideas?

Factory Reset. If that fails to correct the issue, flash back to stock with the R3L3As3Droot And 43V3R Root For The Bionic V2.1 - RootzWiki. You will still have the new radio and kernel, but the original system.

So basically you are suggesting me go back to stock using R3's (which I have done numerous times and back to the .893 with no luck on fixing the problem anyways...)? That's great to know I will have the "new radio" still but I also was glad the camera speed was 5x's faster too... final advice?

I am having the same problem. I can't connect to anything. Facebook stream, Cheescake update, anything that seems to need to contact a server. Very odd. Have you figured anything out yet to resolve it? If so, please explain. Very frustrated.

Same here when trying the cheese cake update. Hopefully someone finds a solution...

Just figured it out.
Open cheesecake then select "click to change server". Select "staging". Then select the third server down "master-sdc100.blurdev.com". Should solve your problems.

tried this and i got update failed after reboot
