Garmin charger for Droid X2

I was looking at the charger unit for my Garmin Nuvi that I no longer use since my Droid has navigation. The end fits my cell phone so can I use that car charger for my Droid when I am in the car? Might be an awfully dumb question but I am a newbie.

Gonna have to check the voltage outputs on the garmin charger and compare the requirements for the X2.
