2 things that make QPic better then Gallery:
- you can resize the pics right within the app which is great for uploading screenshots that are too big
- you can create folders

Playing around again.
Created .nomedia in DCIM folder. = no pics in gallery (except a screenshot album).
Deleted .nomedia file = still no pics. Take a picture and it's as if it starts fresh from there and any further pics shows.

Don't want to contribute to thread drift ... perhaps a "New" thread for various "Great" apps But.... can anyone synopsize the advantages of Quickpic?
Firts I had heard of it.
Ooops! Looks like Pere read my mind as I was typing.

Ya, #1 is resizing on the fly. Ever try to upload a screenie through Tapatalk only to get "Sorry, too big". With QP it's this easy. Tapatalk > Attach > QuickPic > Browse to folder > Select pic > QP opens it for you to preview, you can resize and click CHECK and your resized photo is uploaded.

EDIT\\ Not only RESIZE but crop too... right before you upload.

It's like a sore on your finger you can't stop picking at. :D
I don't care to use Gallery anymore now that I use Quickpic...but it's eating away at me that my Gallery doesn't work. I'm sure more then a few of you know what I mean.
Even considered an FDR to fix... even though I don't plan to use it!!!
What's wrong with me?!?!?! :D

Can we move this to "General Android" or somewhere... maybe some of the greater population will have an idea...
