Gallery is acting slow

Running the latest Th3ory Tom and now scrolling thru my pictures in my gallery is acting really slow. And some of the thumbnail images are no longer showing for some pictures and videos.

I had a similar problem when I loaded 180 pictures on my Droid Bionic phone. I deleted all of the thumbnails by mistake. When I did this the Gallery application began running very slowly. The solution was to move the photos to a new directory. When I did that the thumnails were re-created and Gallery began running well. Hope this helps!
