Galaxy keyboard wont pop up! Help

After the new jb update occasionally when i otuch the text box to pull up the keyboard, the keyboard doesnt come up. I trried restarting my phone but it does the same thing. Now I cant even get in my phone because it requires a password and the keyboard wont pop up to type in my password. help please!
