Frozen Droid, Can I save my apps and contacts?

My Moto Droid has a frozen touch screen. after multiple restarts, the phone will not unlock still. is there a way to copy my phones data to my laptop without the phones touch screen? or any other ideas?

Did you do a battery pull yet? If your contacts are setup and sync'd to Google they will re-sync on a replacement phone, same with apps which are tied to your Google account.

The sd card can be swapped into a replacement phone as well.
