Froyo and Skype not to perfect together?

Actually I just re-flashed using Pete's virgin FRF84B and Skype came back on it's own along with everything else. Thanks Pete!

The Skype update just posted to the Marketplace. It now works on Froyo (rooted)

is the update only for the froyo skype connection? im running 2.1 so should i bother updating (in case the update is for anything else)?
