front-facing video accessory for Droid 2?

I have a Droid 2, and I was wondering if there's a video accessory that I can plug into the mini-USB port so I can see myself while making a video or using the camera.

whoo! that would be COOL ...

but basically I believe the USB port would need to be converted to a USB HOST port before stuff like than or connecting a full-sized keyboard and other peripherals can happen. ... in my research, it seems that is possible but takes making special cables and such -- not easy.
