From flip phone to Droid X

Mornin Everyone,
New to Android and Droid X. Happy to have found this forum. I'll certainly try and take advantage of members' knowledge and expertise to get accustomed to my new device.
Husband, dad, work at a hospital, full-time student, and I love to ride and race mountain and cyclocross bikes when my time and fitness allows.
First on the agenda is to figure out how to put pictures and music on my phone, assist well as deleting some of the apps that came pre-installed (Madden, etc.). I'll check out the FAQs and other forums before I start posting away. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum! Are trying to place ur pics from ur PC to ur phone, is that what ur asking? Also, to get rid of bloatware or unnecessary apps on ur X it is what u call Rooting. Many advantages to rooting. It basically gives u super user access to ur phone, customizing it, totally in charge on what goes on & stays on ur phone.
