any suggestions on how i should set up my frequencies on the droid x overclock? Im looking for balance. something that goes fast and doesnt kill battery.

I would try the Ultra Low Voltage presets on the app and see how it goes from there. For myself, after flashing the leaked Gingerbread, my phone was plenty fast enough so I only undervolt to save battery. My settings are as follows:

Slot 1: 300MHz, 20V
Slot 2: 600MHz, 32V
Slot 3: 800MHz, 43V
Slot 4: 1000MHz, 54V

These settings were stable for me on my phone. Your mileage may vary.

The governor controls how the CPU scales between min and max frequencies. The frequencies are determined by the slots. I have been using on demand but trying interactive to see if there is any battery/performance differences.
