Found my power drain. Explanation attached

Was really getting pissed about the power drain. Would only get 4 hours with minimal usage when at home.
I live in rural Maine and at my home it is 1 bar of Extended Network on Verizon. Traveled for business this week and got full day with extensive use of my X.

The problem was the phone dropping and reacquiring signals from the two different towers that marginally service my home. I had this same problem a few years ago in a NJ building that was equadistant between two cells and when you walked from one end of the building to another the towers would switch and drop.

Relieved I have found the problem, bummed that my phone will consistently die when at home.

Try updating you mobile profiles. *228 option 2

Call verizon and complain. Worst case is they will offer you network extender for $250, best case is you might get it for free. That's if you have broadband internet in your home.
