Found Droid X

Alright. So, I legitimately found a Droid X on my way to the bus stop. My first thought was to open the phone and find the owner. But its at the activation screen. So I'm guessing it's been cleared or reset. Is there anyway I could use this phone for myself or resell it? Please be serious.

Take it in to Verizon to check the meid and they will tell u if it has been marked as lost or stolen, then if clean I believe u can activate it on your line...wait for more replys from ppl here before u go off though, I am not by any means an authority on this...lol... lucky dawg btw!!!

no you can call vzw give them the esn and they'lll contact the owner.

if its reported stolen and you use it good luck.

Thread Closed. To the O.P. if you did not purchase the phone or given to you from the proper owner of the phone, you are in possession of stolen property. Someone out there is looking for it. You need to do the right thing. Discussions of stolen property will not be tolerated on DF.
