Hey guys/gals I found a Maxx on craigslist I plan to buy. The seller is meeting me at the local Verizon store. My question is if its never been unboxed will they be able to activate it for me? Im not sure what the procedure is and any input would be appreciated. I appreciate your time ! Basically he got the BOGO deal and his wife is sticking with her current phone. The fact that he is meeting me at VZ tells me its legit, but then again im very new to this.

You will need to go into Verizon to get a SIM card so it can be activated on your number which is probably why the seller offered to meet there to save you the extra trip. Regardless of the phone was unboxed, new or used, you will need a new SIM card.
