For Droid 2 Global, CDMA

Hi guys, I own a Droid 2 Global, and was wondering If im in the states, shoudl I leave my settings on CDMA? will it save some more battery?

I personally find my battery life improved by switching to CDMA only.

The first time I lost reception it did try to automatically enable GSM though.
