flashing dots when off?

i have a constant red flashing light on the sleep screen and i don't have any notifs that i knoe of... what is it?

Usually that means low battery I think or you missed a call.

blinking Green for missed message. Blue for missed call and blinking red for carging battwry with less than fifteen percent life. Solid red for battery needing charged.

its not being charged but keeps flashing red... anything else it might mean? the battery is near full too.

Mine was just flashing red too and I knew it needed charging as it was at 10% charged. Turned it off and placed it in the media dock for all night charging.

If I were you, I'd try removing the battery(with your X 'on') for a few seconds and see if that straightens it out.
