flashing a droid

well i just recently bought an unactivated:motdroidvert: from a friend for 150$ and i was wondering could i flash it to cricket

Sure.

As far as I know it doesn't matter to Cricket if the phone is activated, stolen, has an unpaid bill, or whatever. They don't seem to ask very many questions. They just flash it with their version of the OS/Baseband and viola!
