flashed droid to cricket.......can u flash roms?

I just bought my girlfriend a droid and. Had it flashed to cricket and everything works well with the exception that youtube videos do not play. The phone has clockwork mod and has a reboot feture on the airport mode screen so I figure it is rooted. Can you still flash new roms even though the phone is flashed to cricket

You should have no problem putting different roms on it, but I would look up the steps to get it set back up for cricket.
